NEMLA's membership year runs from December 1 to November 30.

NEMLA's membership year runs from December 1 to November 30.  The membership year from Dec. 1 2008 to Nov. 30 2009 will be known as the 2009 membership year.  All current members will have to renew by Nov. 30, 2008 for the 2009 membership year if they wish to remain active members or to attend the convention. Online registration is possible using the Acteva system with a credit card or even personal check. LInk coming soon

  •  10:  Panel proposals for 2009 Convention due to Executive Director


June

  • "Call for Papers" Newsletter mailed, also available online
  • 25: Deadline for Board nomination to First Vice President

August

September

  • 15: Abstracts to session chairs (unless otherwise noted)

October

  • 1: Deadline for the following:
    • Completed Panel forms for 2009 convention to Executive Director (note A/V requests)
    • Acceptance or rejection letters sent by chairs for all abstracts.
  • Fall  Board meeting 

November

  • 30: All renewing NEMLA members should rejoin by this date (Membership renewals after this date will be surcharged $10.00)

December

·         1: All renewing NEMLA members should rejoing by this date.

               Deadline for Convention Registration: $25 late fee applies

·         15: Papers for the 2006 Gay and Lesbian Caucus Essay Prize due to chair

·         15: Papers for the 2006 Graduate Student Caucus Essay Prize due to chair

·         22: Registration closed for Convention
