NeMLA offers two ways for its members to communicate with other members who share similar intersts. Its areas of inquiry, each headed by one or more members of the Board of Directors, review session submissions, oversee session activities, and organize events of interest to members in a particular area. The areas of inquiry are particularly interested in fostering productive communication across traditional academic divisions. Its caucuses foster communication, review award submission, coordinate activities and events of interest to caucus members, and provide professional as well as academic enrichment for members.
